Digital Motion X-ray (DMX)

The only DMX in SW Washington and Greater Portland area.

DMX imaging has revolutionized the field of radiology.  A real-time x-ray, the DMX is a functional moving diagnostic test, unlike standard x-rays, CT or MRI. Movement of your body during the DMX test reveals injuries that are often missed or undiagnosed with conventional static (non-movement) diagnostic test.

DMX takes 30 pictures per second and uses extremely low-dose radiation. The DMX is able to detect joint instability which can be due to trauma, such as a motor vehicle crash, or hypermobility conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS).

DMX is a unique diagnostic test that detects ligament damage which can cause joint instability. This produces pain, inflammation and chronic muscle spasm.  Ligament instability will also accelerate the  wear and tear of the injured joint resulting in the premature onset of arthritis (osteoarthritis).

What You Need to Know
Before Choosing a Chiropractor
for your Car Crash Injuries.

- Does the Chiropractor make outside referrals to other health professions (surgeons, specialists)?

- Does the Chiropractor regularly utilize diagnostic tests to fully understand and document your injury?

- Is your Chiropractor willing to testify if your case goes to trial?

Your recovery from injuries you got as a result of a Car Crash is highly dependent on choosing  the correct Chiropractor.
